A Message from Colts President Larry Low

 

Hello Colts Players, Families and Friends!
 
Thank you for all your support in phone calls, emails, signing petitions and attending the City of Stockton Town Hall Meeting.  Our united efforts show our solidarity in keeping Oak Park Ice Arena (OPIA) operating is a reality.
 
Although, this is a minimal repair to get the compressors operating, we will have to continue to plan to help the City with eventual replacement sometime in the future.  More will be forthcoming in the future.  In the mean time, OPIA will be calling for volunteers with several projects while the compressors are down during May and June.  I hope to count on you to help out as we spruce up "our home"!
 
Thanks again for all your efforts as we strive to be the Best Hockey Club in America!

Colts Night at Stockton Ports Game

 

June 29th will be Stockton Colts night at the Stockton Ports game.  Brian Watts was able to set this up for us again this year.  Kids will wear Colts jerseys and go out with Ports players during introductions, and will participate in games during intermissions.

 

Beginning the month of June, Brian will begin to sell tickets and get an Idea of how many kids will be attending.  This has always been a fun night for our players and we look forward to it this year!  More information to follow.

                                                                                May 1, 8, 15, 22      

                                                                                5:15pm to 6:15pm

 

                                       - Boys and girls ages 3-12

                                       - Class is geared towards a child's first time on ice to prepare for OPIA's

                                          "Learn to Skate" program and then the Thunder Colts In-house program. 

                                        - Instructors will be present

                                        - Some helmets are available.  Skates and Sticks are available.
